Handmade Silver Helicopter Seed Earrings

Inspired by nature, these beautiful helicopter seed earrings are made from a mould I created from a real leaf I collected while out on a walk.

Using silver metal clay, I recreate the delicate shape and natural texture of the leaf before firing each piece to create solid silver earrings. The fine lines and organic texture of the original leaf are beautifully captured in the metal, giving these earrings their distinctive, natural appearance.

Each earring is finished with a sterling silver earwire, making them lightweight and easy to wear.

I love the unusual shape of these earrings, inspired by the little helicopter seeds that spin and float through the air as they fall from trees. They’re a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys nature-inspired, botanical and handmade jewellery.

A symbol of growth, new beginnings and letting go, the helicopter seed reminds us to embrace change and see where life takes us.
