Starting in 2026, we will focus on a new skill each month, covering everything from rings to pendants and earrings.
Meet your tutor
I began making jewellery over 20 years ago while living in Australia, starting with pieces for myself, family, and friends. In 2017, I opened my first Etsy shop, followed by my own website a few years later. What began as a creative outlet alongside my career as an NHS nurse soon grew into a thriving full-time business, with over 10,000 sales across both platforms.
In 2025, I proudly opened my first studio in the heart of York — the city’s first to offer permanent jewellery — and completed my Jewellery Diploma with the Jewellers Academy, earning formal recognition for the skills I had honed over many years of self-taught practice.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited to launch my own jewellery school, where I’ll teach beginner metalsmithing classes and explore new techniques each month. I’d love for you to join me on this next creative adventure!
